ReelShort episode saver

ReelShort publishes the opening chapters of most series as public web pages — everything after that sits behind the app's coin system. This page is for keeping those public episodes on your device before a flight or a long commute. Paste the series link once and you'll see exactly which chapters are public and which are paid.

Getting the right link

  1. Open reelshort.com in a desktop or mobile browser — not the app.
  2. Find your series and open its page. The address looks like reelshort.com/movie/<series-name>-<id>.
  3. Copy that address into the box above and press Resolve link.

You can also paste a single episode page (/episodes/episode-…); the resolver will still pull the full series list for that title.

What you'll see

The episode list separates public chapters from paid chapters using the flag ReelShort itself embeds in the page. Public chapters can be saved; paid ones are shown greyed out and are never downloaded. Each public episode streams as a plain, unencrypted HLS playlist, which your browser fetches directly and packages into an MP4 locally.

ReelShort-specific questions

Why do only the first few episodes appear as downloadable?

That's the free preview window ReelShort sets per series. The rest are paid chapters in the official app — this tool doesn't and won't unlock them.

The resolve step says the page can't be reached.

ReelShort restricts some regions and occasionally rate-limits automated reads. Open the link in your own browser first: if it loads for you but not here, wait a few minutes and try again. If it doesn't load for you either, the series isn't publicly accessible from your region.

Is the video quality reduced?

No. The stream is kept at whatever quality the platform serves publicly — the packaging step is lossless.

Does this work for the ReelShort app itself?

No. The tool only reads the public website. Content inside the app, including anything you've paid for, is out of scope.

Public content, responsible use. This page does not unlock paid episodes, bypass access controls, or process DRM-protected media, and it is not affiliated with ReelShort or Crazy Maple Studio. You are responsible for confirming you have permission to keep each file and for complying with the platform's terms.
